Rules
Co-Production Feature Film
1.
All applications must be submitted in English regardless of the language of the film
2.
Shortlisted participants will be asked to send their complete scripts (with dialogues, 90 – 100 pages) within 15 days of receiving a notification from the organisers.
3.
Final projects will be decided based on the quality of the final script submitted.
4.
One can submit multiple projects.
5.
The applicant(s) cannot approach jury members and / or organizers under any circumstances during the process of submission & selection. If found guilty of the same, the respective applications will be disqualified.
6.
Once the project is selected, either producer or director of the project must be present in person at the SAFM.Global venue.
7.
SAFM.Global will provide handholding, capacity building and mentoring to the final selected film makers to create a compelling pitch presentation.
8.
The selected film makers will be given 15 min in total to present their project during the market. 5 Minutes (of the total 15 min) will be allotted for pitching & the remaining 10 min will be kept for Q & A session.
9.
The Information on the application form cannot be edited once submitted

The decision of SAFM.Global will be final & binding on all applicants
Gap Funding
1.
All applications must be submitted in English regardless of the language of the film

Submission of complete scripts with dialogues is mandatory.
3.
Final projects will be decided based on the quality of the project
4.

5.
Complete budget break down will be required (Amount spent, amount required)
6.
The applicant(s) cannot approach jury members and / or organizers under any circumstances during the process of submission & selection. If found guilty of the same, the respective applications will be disqualified.

Web Series
1.

Submission of complete bible is mandatory. Submission of incomplete bible will lead to disqualification.
3.
Final projects will be decided based on the quality of the bible.

Applicant(s) can submit multiple projects.
5.
Writer of the selected project must be present in person at the SAFM.Global venue
6.
SAFM.Global will provide handholding, capacity building and mentoring to the final selected writers to create a compelling pitch presentation
7.
The selected film makers will be given 15 min in total to present their project during the market. 5 Minutes (of the total 15 min) will be allotted for pitching & the remaining 10 min will be kept for Q & A session
8.

Book To Screen
1.
All applications must be submitted in English regardless of the original language of the book.
2.
Projects must either have an author of South Asian origin or the book should have a South Asian backdrop and / or characters.
3.
For SAFM.Global 2022 MENA Chapter, we are honoured to open entries for book projects with either an author of MENA origin or with MENA region backdrop and / or characters.
4.
Applicant(s) can submit multiple projects.
5.
Once the project is selected, publisher or agent or the author must be present in person at the SAFM Global venue
6.
SAFM Global will provide handholding, capacity building and mentoring to the final selected participants to create a compelling pitch presentation.
7.
The selected film makers will be given 15 min in total to present their project during the market. 5 Minutes (of the total 15 min) will be allotted for pitching & the remaining 10 min will be kept for Q & A session.
